Photographers looking to be part of the prestigious and free-to-enter Pink Lady Competition have until February 7 to upload their entries, at www.pinkladyfoodphotographeroftheyear.com.
There’s a wide range of over 20 categories to consider, including the Claire Aho Award for Women Photographers, the Champagne Tattinger Wedding Food Photographer, Food Influencers, Fujifilm Award for Innovation, Student Food Photographer of the Year (supported by the RPS) and Food film Shorts. Full details of the various categories and entry conditions can be found on the website.
It’s also just been announced that the competition will be premiering its tenth anniversary exhibition at the Royal Photographic Society’s gallery space in Bristol, a show that will take place from November 20 through to December 12, 2021.
This year’s global judging panel, chaired by legendary food photographer, David Loftus, includes Fiona Shields, Head of Photography, Guardian News & Media, Susan Bright, Writer and Curator, Nik Sharma, Cookbook Author and Photographer, Chef Simone Zanoni, Restaurant Le George, Four Seasons Paris, Alison Jacques, Founder, Alison Jacques Gallery, Vitalie Taittinger, President, Champagne Taittinger and Rein Skullerud, Head of Photo Unit, World Food Programme.
