Joby has launched an upgraded Wavo range, which sees five eye-catching new additions to the line-up. The move greatly strengthens Joby’s existing range and the five new mics sit neatly alongside the lighting and stability products that are proving so popular with pro-minded vloggers and filmmakers.

Led by all-new flagships the Wavo PRO and Wavo AIR, there are now audio products priced from £43.95-£257.95 to suit all sectors of the creative market, with the top-of-the-range models being loaded with high-end professional features that are designed to meet the needs of even the most demanding operators.

The all-new Wavo PRO, priced at £257.95, is an innovative shotgun microphone built for storytellers, filmmakers and expert creators on the go. This premium mic is equipped with an intelligent hybrid analogue/digital system to power onboard active noise reduction and it also comes with a sound management app and an integrated second 3.5mm mic input.

Meanwhile the Wavo PRO DS, priced at £228.95, which will be available from March 4, shares most of the pro-grade components of the flagship Wavo PRO, but is designed to deliver high-quality audio with a more streamlined user experience.

The Wavo AIR, at £214.95, is an ‘instant-pairing’ wireless microphone kit aimed at creatives who are looking to explore what vlogging has to offer. Perfect for delivering tight, broadcast-quality sound, even at a distance, the product is designed to pair easily with a variety of custom accessories, and to be placed in any environment, immediately ready for action.

The new line-up is completed by the Wavo POD (below), a large-diaphragm, USB condenser microphone that’s priced at £85.95 and is aimed at audio streamers, and the Wavo Lav PRO (below), costing £68.95, which is Joby’s first pro-grade lavaliere mic, designed to deliver big sound from a small footprint.
