Earlier this year we sadly had to option but to postpone the joint Professional Photo/Nikon School filmmaking session due to lockdown but the good news is that this has now been rescheduled for June 4 from 10am to 12 noon and the even better news is that, because this is now an online session, we can accommodate a few more people, but get in quickly because we know this one is going to book up quickly!

The Nikon School is widely renowned for the excellence of its teaching and usually sessions come at a cost, but this very special two-hour guide to Nikon Z filmmaking is completely free and will be led by highly respected trainers Ricci Chera and Neil Freeman.

During this course you will learn how to control your camera, enabling you to shoot video with confidence, and although the emphasis on the day will be how to get the best video footage out of Nikon’s Z-series mirrorless models – now capable of delivering footage in ProRes Raw of course thanks to the tie up with Atomos – there will also be plenty covered that will also be of huge interest to anyone planning to start making commercial videos for the first time.

Topics due to be covered during the session include:

• Shooting video with your Z camera

• Z series video theory

•Video autofocus

• Tips and tricks       • Audio considerations       • Video lighting       • Shooting for edit

Click on the link below to sign up but don’t hang around: first choice obviously had to go to those who had signed up for the original course, so we’ve only got the extra places to offer and they will go fast!
