Professional Photo Issue 176

Our high-kicking cover star this month was photographed by Hollywood fine art photographer Tyler Shields, often considered the bad boy of the business for his sometimes controversial imagery. However, we find out there’s much more to Tyler than his public persona, and he reveals why he’s felt the need to knock over some conventions, plus the fact that he only ever sleeps for around two hours a night! We’re also starting a new ‘Anatomy of a Shoot’ series with Paul Wilkinson, where he reveals the full story behind one of his memorable sittings, while our popular new ‘Time to Turn Pro’ series this month is focusing on a day in the life of a commercial photographer. Professional photographers are telling us about the value of vlogging and the kit that helps them to get involved, while our main test this month is the brand-new Panasonic S5, being touted as a full-frame version of the phenomenally successful Lumix GH5. Another all-action issue, so grab a copy and make sure you’re up to speed!
